Chronicle 4- Are We There Yet?
Finally On The Way We were all packed and piled in two vehicles. I was in the truck with three boys, a portable Xbox, and a loaded trailer in tow. My in-laws were in their truck with their ginormous dog (Great Pyrenees), our German Shepherd, and our mischievous cat who was not very happy being in a kennel for the first time in her life. A mix of emotions settled in as we left the driveway and waved goodbye to our first home and began a journey that would mark a new chapter in all of our lives. I can’t believe we are really doing this. As I followed…

Chronicle 3- Let’s Get On The Road
Chronicle 3… Let’s Go! I was not ready for this. Mentally, I was not ready. Twenty-three hundred miles lie ahead of us and we were about to venture out on mile one. (To read our Tiny Life Adventure from the beginning, start here.) One by one I woke the kids up, which wasn’t hard. They love road trips. Although I wish we were, we aren’t done talking about them. We sent three Uhaul boxes over and packed one trailer up I was going to tow behind my truck. My father-in-law came with me to pick up the trailer. When we returned we…

Chronicle 1-We Sold Our Home And Bought An RV
“Let’s sell our home and buy an RV” “Let’s sell our home and buy an RV!” I suggested. Then quickly a suggestion turned into a plan. Are we actually doing this? What do you even look for in an RV? Looking back I realize the people I had watched on the Youtube channels that made RV living so inviting must have had SOME knowledge of what being in an RV was like. By that I mean, they probably stayed in RVs growing up or even occasionally camped in one before taking on the full-time RV living lifestyle. We, however, knew NOTHING. That will become more and more evident as I…
